About me and this site

Firsty welcome. Some of you will know me from Astral Realm's sister site: The Art of Lewis Moorcroft.

This new project (launched Nov 2011) showcases my next-generation artwork, which has taken a much more focused direction of atmospheric landscapes and spacescapes. Gallery images are of a higher detail and resolution, and have had a lot more attention to detail put into them.

As well as artwork I have also added a section to showcase another hobby of mine; mixing (DJ'ing). I have mostly been a 'bedroom DJ' but have had the opportunity to do the occasional gig in the past. I like a variety of music genres, but here I will be focusing on the deeper side of electronic music, with the occasional nu-jazz and down-tempo mix thrown in.

The site itself is fairly experimental. For example the image gallery uses a star map concept (I may work on a better star map over time) instead of the usual grid layout. The site also uses a few features that only up-to-date browsers support, therefore legacy browsers will only show a very basic verison of the site.

All updates to the site will be posted on my Twitter account.

Still to come

For all gallery images I plan to add a section underneath the master image that will allow you to download them for the most popular mobile and tablet devices. This should be added to the site quite soon as it is not a massive job - I just need to work out what screen resolutions those popular devices all have.
